Our Favorite Food Movies…

A boringly slow weekend, or a sleepless night…?
we have some very meaty cures, that have never failed!
(at least us)
Here are some of our all time favorite movies
that are food for the soul, and literally so!
for they are our favorite food movies..!!!
And what’s better, they come without the evil calories!

1. Julie and Julia (2009)

Meryl Streep’s portrayal of Julia Child’s love affair

with food and cooking is perfectly spicy, tangy and salty!
It’s both witty and endearing.

2. Chocolat (2000)

The prettiest village,

the quaintest chocolaterie,

and the Johnniest Depp…

Oh god we need to get back to work.

3. The Hundred Foot Journey (2014)

When rustic Indian spices meet delicate French Au gratins….
the fusion is fresh, surprising and irresistible!
PS: We are not talking just food!

4. It’s Complicated (2009)

Well, if the cast hasn’t lured you already,

that beautiful countryside home will sure steal your heart!

it's complicated

5. Babette’s Feast (1987)

It’s a classic you cannot miss!

6. Eat Pray Love (2010)

She had the courage,
to indulge herself,
and nourish her soul,
sans the guilt…!

eat pray love 1

7. Ratatouille (2007)

A heartfelt animation movie.
Some brilliantly brewed characters.
All we can say is, one’s never too old for a Ratatouille!

8. The Lunchbox (2013)

It’s subtle,

it’s old world-ishly contemporary,

it’s a lot of ingredients you’d never think could go together.
It’s one of those rare movies that grow on you with time…

9. No Reservations (2007)

It’s charming, romantic, and comic.
And Catherine Zeta-Jones is a stunner!

no reservations

Don’t forget to tell us which one’s your favorite!
