Sublime hues, floaty silhouettes and a contemporary design appeal characterizes the freshest range of Kantha embroidered separates by Jaypore.

The word ‘Kontha,’ derived from the Sanskrit word, rags, was traditionally made from discarded and old sarees and dhotis. It involves the use of a basic running stitch to create imagery that is derived from myths, nature, contemporary themes, and for many artisans, it is also a form of self-expression.

Part of a collaboration between *SASHA (Sarba Shanti Ayog), designer Anshu Arora, and Jaypore; this collection of intricate embroidery is the painstaking work of women weaving groups organized under SASHA.

With striking patchwork embroidered details, fabric buttons, and micro-pleats, these handloom cotton pieces are the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe.
